This is a very good book. It’s a fast read, despite its mammoth size. Granted, it’s no “It” by Stephen King, but it’s a pretty big book at a whopping 498 pages. I think this book could have been a lot better if it had been about a hundred pages less. Here’s my simple breakdown:

PROS:
The book reads fast, so each chapter seems to fly by. The relationships between the characters are real, the dialogue feels real, even the love seems real. Realism keeps a reader glued to the book & this book – despite its obvious vampire plot – is very realistic. It’s also very well written. Stephanie Meyer doesn’t say in ten sentences what she can say in five, and she doesn’t say in five what she can say in one. She’s succinct and an incredible writer. Most of the time. This makes for a quick and satisfying read, with all Bella & Edward’s high highs and low lows feeling familiar and plausible.

CONS:
Too much repetition. In attempt to posit the awkward, clumsy, and so-not-a-supermodel Bella against the suave, uber-hunk vampire Edward, Stephanie Meyer goes too far. My head started to swim after awhile with all the repetition. It’s like this: Bella sees Edward; he’s so handsome and suave and she’s such an awkward clutz! Things are awkward. Then Bella goes home & things with her dad are awkward. Then she goes to school, where, you guessed it, things are awkward. There’s also too much focus on Edward’s good looks. I found it to be clunky and expositional. Edward speaks from ruby red lips and his muscled arms and his chiseled chest, etc. etc. We get it: she’s average at best and he’s just the bee’s knees. We get it.

Also (and this didn’t bother me too much but I feel I have to include it in the “cons” section), I thought that for a downtrodden, sullen, loner with low self-esteem Bella acted awfully rude and arrogant to the kids at her school who were only trying to be nice and befriend her. You can’t get mad that you have no friends and no one understands you when you detach from everyo

Artemis Fowl is a 12 year old criminal mastermind from Ireland. He believes he has discovered the underground of world of fairies.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Atermis. with his trust strongarm and bodyguard Butler, comes across a sprite posing as a healer and acquires from her the fairy holy book written in Gnomish.

Meanwhile the pretty and tough elf policegirl Captain Holly Short, of LEPrecon is pursuing a deadly troll who has escaped aboveground, and is kidnapped by Artemis to ransom her for copious amounts of fairy gold,. Holly is put under the care of Butler’s sister, Juliet, a blond 16 year old bodyguard in training.

Artemis has taken on LEPrecon and has not reckoned with LEPrecon Commander Juius Root who will stop at nothing to rescue Captain Short. LEPrecon is aided by centaur Foaly. A lot of exciting and fast paced action sometimes too much of it to allow for much character or scene development.
A great deal of wit and humour which is possibly the main attraction of the books.
Technology fans will love the high tech elf equipment.
Plenty of weird and wonderful characters- my favourite being the mesmerizing Captain Holly Short.
Not quite a modern classic but it is loved by teen and pre-teen audiences internationally.

This printer is what Kodak calls “all-in-one”. It scans, copies and prints.

Installation:
Took awhile, but was easy to complete. I connected it to my computer using the wireless “WIFI” connection, using this the printer located my router, I entered the WEP security code and it connected. As the software installed, it also automatically updated the firmware via internet.

Kodak AIO Home Center Software:
The printer software is easy to use and similar to other photo editing software. The commands are self explanatory. The menus are designed well and flow in a step by step manner.

Print & Edit Photos:
Features include “Kodak Perfect Touch”, which automatically corrects and enhances a photo. There is also a red eye correction, color restoration and sharpening and facial retouch, crop. More adjustments include, brightness, contrast, saturation, shadows, midtones and highlights.

Projet Center and Tips:
This selection brings up a Kodak website including The Kodak Gallery for online photo sharing, projects and if you want to ordering gifts from photographs.
This website includes a help center.

The LED display clearly and brightly displays the easy to use functions and another great plus is that the ink dries instantly and is water resistant.

Of course it saves ink. The replacement cartridges for both black and color inks cost about 27.00 dollars, which is a great price.

If you need to replace your printer/scanner, this is an ideal choice, one that you’ll be very happy to own and operate. This is a very high quality printer, scanner copier, One that I absolutely could not recommend more highly.

Matchbee was dishonest and misleading in their sale. I never received the CD-ROM as mentioned in the ad. What I did receive was an e-mail about downloading this product which did not work. I was quite happy to get a refund.

I have no complaints and have not had any problems with the print quality of this toner cartridge. It seems to work just as well as my last full priced HP cartridge. The item arrived about 9 days after it was purchased – which is a little slower than I had hoped.
Compatible HP LaserJet 1012

I would rate this book in the top ten of my reading life. It was just wonderful!

The garmin 1350T turned out to be a refurbished product, it didn’t say that in the add. We took it on a trip but the traffic icon didn’t come on all the time so it didn’t really do us any good, we returned it, we were very pleased with the process and help on returning it. We already own a garmin street pilot there has been very good but do not have the traffic.

I have a mixed breed dog with soft straight fur. This is the first brush I found that combs out a lot of hair. Her coat looks and feels great. This tool has a quality feel and can be had for a fraction of the retail price on Amazon. I don’t know how it got poor reviews. I can only imagine it pulls the hair on dogs with curly hair/fur or that its was used too hard or too often.
