I knew I desired a Medela, but some of their pumps count in at 8 pounds , and I knew I didn’t want anything that NEEDED to apply the complimentary “stylish haversack”. When I found the Swing, and read the reviews, I knew it was what I wanted. It is closely equally compact as hand pumps, but utilises the same two stage action as the more expensive Medela Swing Breast Pump. It is comfy to apply , I’ve had no problems with leaking out, it appears more efficient and in the main I merely really like this pump. You can apply double A batteries to powerfulness it, which is large if you are moving ( Drome? Camping?) The best part though, came about five moment ago when I took in that the yarns on the Swing match the yarns on dope Airvent bottles that are the sole 1s we can get DD to use! ! No more random bottles, and no more pumping in to one container so raining cats and dogs into another container to use! .
The Swing Pump is real nice since you can set the quantity of suck to your liking. I does not hurt like all the Medical Level 1s I have attempted and bought. It is not as noisy as some have suggested . I creates the same quantity of noise that any electrical pump wees . And the sole reason that milk gets sucked up in the tubing is if the white tissue layer sticks and doesn’t let the milk free fall into the bottle (so you have to aid it not stick by manually drawing the flap spread out a few times until the milk menstruates by itself). And that can be a reason why the suck is not equally good likewise (the tissue layer may be worn out and necessitates exchanging). I have had to speak with many lactation nurses and I apply Olive Oil on my mammillas before I pump so that it doesn’t irretate my nipples when pumping (makes it smoother not as harsh). I also massage my breasts as I pump. This is a MAJOR reason why some adult females can not give rise equally practically when they pump.
