I receieved my Kindle a little less than a week ago. I am a 62 year old spectacles wearer. Normally I use varifocal specs as I do not like changing to reading glasses and back again at regular intervals (I find it very inconvienent to change them to see what is going on in the room while I am reading).
If I read a normal paper book with my varifocals, I have to keep moving the book or my head to focus on the part of the page that I am reading. With the Kindle, I can focus on all of the screen without moving my head or the Kindle. This make it a far more relaxing experience compared to reading a book.
